APC is an independent public opinion research firm. We conduct surveys about elections and public policy. We are not a political campaign, party, or committee. We do not advocate for or against any candidate or ballot measure, we do not sell products or services to survey participants, and we do not solicit donations.

Terms of Service
1. Mobile Messaging Terms
By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages (SMS and MMS) from American Polling Company relating to our survey research program.
- Messages may include survey invitations, survey reminders, and research follow-ups. Consent to receive text messages is program-specific and does not constitute consent to receive calls or messages from other programs or third parties.
- Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of any purchase, and is not required in order to contact us or to use this website.
- Our messages do not solicit donations, sell products or services, or advocate for or against any candidate, party, or ballot measure. Participation in any survey is voluntary, and you may decline to answer any question.
- You may cancel the SMS service at any time. Text STOP to the number from which you received the message. You will receive a single confirmation message. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program. We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT.
- For assistance, reply HELP to any message or contact contact@americanpollingcompany.com.
- Message frequency varies based on activity and your level of engagement. Standard message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.
- Mobile carriers, including T-Mobile, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
2. Use of This Website
This website is provided for informational purposes. You agree not to use it to transmit unlawful content, to interfere with its operation, or to attempt unauthorized access to any system or data. Website content is the property of American Polling Company unless otherwise noted.

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and encourage you to review their policies.

4. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, as well as information collected automatically through your use of our website.

If you opt in to text messages, we retain a record of that consent, including the date and time, the exact disclosure text shown to you, and technical details of the submission such as IP address and browser user agent. We keep this record so that we can demonstrate that your consent was given.
- Survey research data. If you take part in one of our surveys, we collect the responses you provide. Separately, we obtain contact information for potential survey participants — including names, addresses, and telephone numbers — from official state voter files and licensed data vendors. This information comes from public records and licensed sources, not from this website.
- Automatically collected information. We use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your device, IP address, and how you interact with our site, in order to operate the site, improve the user experience, and analyze traffic.
5. Use of Information
We use the information we collect to:

- Conduct and analyze public opinion research, and produce aggregate, de-identified research findings.
- Maintain our opt-out list, so that we do not contact people who have asked us not to.

- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Survey results are reported in aggregate. We do not publish the individual responses of an identifiable participant as part of our research findings.
6. Disclosure and Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information as follows:
- We share information with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf. These providers are prohibited from using your information for their own purposes.
- We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation, or to comply with law enforcement or legal process.

We will not share or sell your text messaging opt-in data, consent, or related personal information with any third parties, unless required by law.
We will not share text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, provided that the foregoing does not apply to sharing (1) with vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (and who will not use such information for their own purposes); (2) if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or to comply with law enforcement or legal process; and (3) if the user consents to our sharing of such information.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
