Pay an invoice
This page is for organizations that have contracted American Polling Company for research services. Payments are accepted only for research agreed in a statement of work.
How billing works
- Scope. We agree the research design, sample, and survey dates in writing, in a statement of work.
- Payment. We send your billing contact the payment details for the project, including a secure link to pay online. An itemized invoice is issued on request — campaign and committee clients usually need one for their records.
- Survey. Your survey runs once payment has settled. ACH transfers typically settle within several business days.
Making a payment
The payment details we send your billing contact include a secure link to pay online. Open that link and pay directly from it, using the payment methods and remittance details listed there.

Lost the payment email? We will resend it — email contact@americanpollingcompany.com from your billing contact address and include your project or invoice number. Please request a resend rather than paying by another route, so that your payment stays matched to the correct project.
Need an invoice? Ask and we will issue an itemized invoice for your records, before or after payment.
Terms
- Payment terms
- The amount due and the payment terms for your project are set in your statement of work and restated in the payment details we send. If you need an alternative arrangement, contact us before your agreed survey dates rather than after them.
- Survey schedule
- Your survey runs once payment has settled. ACH transfers typically settle within several business days; card payments settle sooner. If your survey dates are time-sensitive, tell us when we scope the project so we can plan around settlement.
- Invoices
- An itemized invoice is issued on request, before or after payment — just ask. Campaign and committee clients usually want one for their records, and we are glad to provide it. An invoice is not required in order to pay.
- Accepted methods
- The payment details we send list the methods available to you and the remittance details for each. Checks are payable to American Polling Company LLC.
- Refunds and cancellation
- Payments are for professional research services performed under an executed statement of work. Refunds, cancellations, and disputes are governed by that agreement. Raise any billing question with us at contact@americanpollingcompany.com.
- Billing questions
- Email contact@americanpollingcompany.com with your project or invoice number. We typically respond within two business days.
